Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted infection among young people under 25. If left untreated, it can lead to reduced fertility and increase the risk of contracting other sexually transmitted infections.
We have several self-testing stations on our campuses so you can catch it early. The restrooms are marked with round, pink stickers.

The test for men is a simple urin sample, while women insert a special Q-tip into the vagina. The samples are put into an envelope and put in a mailbox. Everything happens inside the bathroom, so that the test can be done discreetly. The samples are picked up by a nurse and you will get Your test results within a couple of weeks if the test is positive. If you do not hear anything within this time, it means the test was negative. Remember that it takes at least two weeks from the time of infection until it shows up on a test.

Free condoms
We encourage the use of condoms, and you can find free condoms at several locations on campus, at the health center, or order them online
Need someone to talk to
We offer free counselling services through our Student Counselling Centre if you need someone to talk to. You can book video calls, phone calls, or an in-person meeting.
