The service is called Minireturn, and it is operated by the waste company Remiks. For now, it is available only in Tromsø. In May 2025, the service was expanded through a collaboration between Samskipnaden and Remiks to cover most student housing areas. By establishing Minireturn points at student residences, we make it easier for students to make more sustainable choices in their everyday lives.
You can drop off cardboard, electrical items, metal, textiles, and items for reuse, among other things. Using Minireturn is both free and easy.
Minireturn is available to all residents of Tromsø, so everyone living in the surrounding area can benefit from it.
