Where am I on the waiting list?
This is a question that many people ask – and we understand why! If it has been a while since you applied, it is natural to be curious about whether something will happen soon. Unfortunately, we are unable to say exactly what place you have on the waiting list or how long it will take before you receive an offer. We send out offers continuously, and those who applied early are given priority.
What do I have to do when I am on the waiting list?
Make sure that your application is still active, and feel free to add more types of housing – it can increase your chances! You can go to My page at any time and make changes to your application.
What do I do if I do not receive an offer of housing for the start of my studies?
Don't give up! There are often more vacant homes throughout the fall, so we recommend that you continue to be on the waiting list. There is a good chance that we will eventually have something available.
I have been offered housing but it was not my first choice - should I decline?
We would like to give everyone their first choice, but unfortunately, that is not always possible. If you decline the offer you receive, your application will be deleted and you will have to apply again. We therefore recommend that you accept the offer, even if it was not your first choice - you can apply to change housing later in the fall.
