The Reuse Room: A wardrobe in constant rotation

Imagine a place where clothes and everyday items get a new owner instead of being thrown away or forgotten. That’s exactly what the residents at Dramsvegen Panorama have created with the Reuse Room.

On the first floor of Smørbukklia 3, you’ll find a room many students have grown attached to. Here, you can pass on what you no longer use and find something you actually need.

Everyday finds

The Reuse Room is a free, trust-based offer. Here, you’ll find everything from clothes and shoes to things you need in your student housing. What no longer has a place with one person can quickly become a favourite for someone else.

"I sometimes stop by on my way home from school just to have a look, and I’ve found so many great things. I also really like having the chance to give something back. I often clean out my closet, and it’s such an easy way to get rid of clothes I don’t use anymore." - Resident at Dramsvegen Panorama

Making good choices easier

The Reuse Room is part of the effort to make everyday life a bit easier and more sustainable for students.

We want to make it easier for students to make good choices in their daily lives, both for their wallet and the environment. The Reuse Room is a great example of that. – Staff member, Student Housing Services

It doesn’t have to be more complicated than that. A room, some clothes and things, and students who use it.

If you live at Dramsvegen Panorama, we hope you’ll make use of it.
