Learn about our application process for Kindergartens
There is a common application and admission system for all kindergartens in your municipality. You can apply for both student kindergarten and municipal kindergarten via a common applicant portal. All applicants with a Norwegian social security number can apply via the municipality's application portal:
If you do not have a Norwegian social security number, you must contact your municipality.
You can apply for a kindergarten place all year round and we have ongoing admissions if there is a vacancy, but you must apply by March 1 to be included in the main admission. Acceptance letters come via e-mail to the main applicant. It is therefore important that you provide the correct e-mail address.
If you are a student with children, there are many benefits to choosing a student kindergarten.
