Information regarding the internet in our student housing

All our student housing has internet included in the rent, but some locations do not have wireless internett. In the housing areas or types this applies to, the residents can set up their own wireless network!

What do we offer at different housing areas?

The menus below shows which type of internet we offer at different housing areas.

Note!
In areas where we only offer wired internet, residents can set up their own wireless network if needed.
Samskipnaden or UiT Orakelet does not provide support for resident's own wireless routers.

If you live in a housing area where the wifi is called "Samskipnaden", you will find your personal password to log in on MyPage.

If you live in a housing area where the wifi is called "Eduroam", you can log in with the same details as your UiT user account.

Where can I report errors and receive support?

UiT provides support and operates the internet for most of our housing. UiT Orakelet also provides support and will help our residents with most problems that should occur.

Note that Orakelet does not provide support for resident's own wireless routers.
