Elvesletta student housing is located in the centre of Longyearbyen, with immediate access to a variety of shops and restaurants.
The housing units are divided between two buildings, with both dorms and apartments, right in the heart of Longyearbyen. You'll have easy access to city and nature just outside your door, with the university only a short walk away.
On the ground floor of building number 17, you’ll find our housing office, where both housing consultants and maintenance staff are available. In the same building, you will also find UNIS’s study area, which students have access to during opening hours. During the polar night, daylight lamps are available here.
At Elvesletta student housing, it is customary to remove your shoes before entering shared areas and apartment buildings. Therefore, each apartment building has a shoe rack in the entrance area, as well as an additional shoe rack inside the apartments.
