Kraft sportssenter feirer 20-årsjubileum

Kraft sports center turns 20 years old

Kraft sports center celebrates its 20th anniversary with hand alcohol, digital competitions and give-away cake. The co-owner congratulates on the day

Digital birthday celebration and give-away cake

"The pandemic clearly sets guidelines for how we can mark the 20th anniversary, but it should not be based on enthusiasm," says department head for sports, Bjørn Brækkan. "We celebrate the day by making fun of our members digitally and with chocolate after training hours in the hall. Students and other members can win small and large prizes throughout the week. And the birthday cake? We give it away to a lucky congratulator," he continues.

Important offer

Kraft sports center has a strong and significant position among the students in Tromsø. Especially during a pandemic. People need to get out and be on the move, and we are very happy that we have been able to stay open through the demanding period we are in.

No longer a teenager!

It has been an insanely exciting journey from Kraft started in 2001 to today. With a sports hall, with an associated climbing wall, group gyms and strength / conditioning room, we were already quite large when we started. And over the years, we have grown even larger in order to provide an even better offer to our members and partners. Today, we offer Northern Norway's most varied training offer to 3,000 members.

Northern Norway's most varied training offer

The special thing about student sports facilities is the breadth and variety of the offer. There are no other facilities in Tromsø that offer climbing, 2 multi-purpose halls, 4 group gyms, strength and conditioning facilities of such quality and variety. This is a very important arena where students and other members get a reasonable and good training offer.
