Location

Dramsvegen Panorama Student Housing is our newest student housing. Residents can claim to have one of Tromsø’s most spectacular views. Dramsvegen Panorama is strategically located less than 1 km from the university campus and 2.5 km from downtown Tromsø. The single rooms and flats here are suitable for single students or couples, and some are disability-friendly.

Housing

Each single room has a private bathroom, while 8 or 15 residents share a kitchen with two kitchen stations. Pots and pans are available in the kitchen. The studio apartments are furnished with a bed (90 cm), desk, book shelf, wardrobe, chair and bathroom fittings. Laundry room for block 5 and 7 is located on 1st floor in block 7 Block 6/9 and 8/11 has laundry rooms on 1st floor. Block 3 has a laundry room on 2nd floor.

Neighbourhood

As well as being well placed in relation to UiT, Dramsvegen Panorama Student Housing is just a stone’s throw from the network of illuminated cross-country ski trails stretching the length of the island. This is a brilliant place for urban outdoor recreation with walking/jogging in summer and skiing on prepared trails all winter. The student sports centre Kraft, which features a climbing wall among other tings, is only a few minutes’ walk away. Moreover, the ice skating rink and indoor tennis courts are close by. Tromsøs newest swimming pool "Tromsøbadet" is near by. The closest supermarket is 300 m away.

Walk or cycle to campus

Dramsvegen Panorama Student Housing are among the closest student housing to the university campus. You can walk to the university in 12 minutes or bike in five. It takes less than 30 minutes to walk to the city centre.

Public transportation

It’s easy to get from the student housing to most areas of Tromsø by bus. There is a bus stop right below the student housing in Dramsvegen. Routes 20, 21 and 24 stop here, as well as the weekend night buses. The bus trip from here into the city centre takes approximately 10 minutes. It’s also easy to catch a bus to Tromsø’s largest shopping centre in Giæverbukta, the alpine ski centre on the mainland, the suburbs of Stakkevollan and Mortensnes or the university and university hospital

There is no on-site parking associated with the student housing.
