YATA Tromsø

YATA Tromsø is the northernmost local group of the organization Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA) Norway. The organization is international, and in Norway is subject to the Norwegian Atlantic Committee (DNAK). YATA is a politically independent organization. This means that we are not affiliated with any political parties or sponsors. YATA works to give Norway's young and future leaders a good basis for reflected decisions in foreign, defense and security policy. Knowledge and discussion are the goal in everything we do.

We are keen to create good opportunities for our members! Many of our events also have free entry for non-members. You don't have to be an expert or have great ambitions to join YATA! Your interest in our organization and work is all that is needed. Membership of YATA does not commit you to anything. Even if you only live near Tromsø, you can be a member and receive exciting news and opportunities from us!
