What is included?

Electricity is included in the rent, with some exceptions for Rådyrveien housing area in Harstad.

All our student housing has internet included in the rent, and we use Eduroam. UiT provides the internet, which means that if you do not have an Eduroam account with a different university, you must have an active user account at UiT to get online. Contact UiT's IT support Orakelet to get a user account. If you experience problems with the network, or want user support, Oracle also helps you with this.

Our housing page describes what furniture is included. Most of our dorms come furnished, while most of our apartments are unfurnished, as most of our apartment tenants prefer to use their own furniture. If an apartment is described as unfurnished, it means it also does not have kitchen appliances. All dorms and apartments come without curtains. Some have blinds, and this is listed in the description.

You must provide insurance that covers damages to the apartment and your belongings. In Norway, this is called innboforsikring.
