Samskipnaden takes care of maintenance and repairs in the housing and makes sure all its facilities work as they should.

Tenants have the opportunity to apply to rent a storage unit for additional storage space.

By the main entrance you will find the “swap table.” Here, tenants can leave items they no longer need, allowing other tenants to take them. The table is widely used during both move-in and move-out periods.

There are a few parking spaces available, and they are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is free, and no parking permit is required.

Fjellveien student housing is located close to the ski resort Narvikfjellet. This is an excellent starting point for outdoor activities during both summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the mountain lift to Fjellheisrestauranten and continue up to Linken mountain top if you wish. There you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city, mountains, and fjords. During winter, you can enjoy alpine facilities will open for skiing and snowboarding.

The housing is located close to Kraft Narvik, the students’ own fitness centre.

A short walk downhill takes you to the centre of Narvik, where you will find, among other things, two shopping malls, a cinema, bowling, cafés, and restaurants.

In the basement at the campus, you’ll find the students’ own pub – Tekniker’n. The pub is run by an amazing team of volunteer students, working in the bar, at the door, in event groups, and on the board.

Our housing is centrally located in Narvik, so the need for buses is limited. The bus terminal, where local buses and the airport bus stop, is at the Amfi center, about a 15-minute walk from the housing area.

The mailboxes are located by the entrance.

The housing is equipped with a shared laundry room, accessible to all tenants. The laundry room is located in the basement.

The waste containers are located just outside the building on the upper level. Remember to sort your waste according to the labels on the containers.
