Each apartment includes a private indoor storage room. In addition, every apartment has access to a larger shared storage area located in the basement.

The single-room units do not have private storage rooms but have access to a shared storage room.

Each apartment comes with one designated parking space, while the single-room units do not include parking.

Parking is currently free of charge. However, paid parking is planned for the future.

Each apartment and single-room unit has its own mailbox, with parcel delivery options available through services such as Helt Hjem. The nearest Post in Shop service is located at Coop Extra, approximately 1.1 km away.

All apartments are equipped to accommodate the installation of a washing machine. There is also a laundry room with one washing machine and one tumble dryer. The laundry room is located in the basement of Storvollen 7 and is primarily intended for use by the eight single-room units.

At the turning area by the entrance to the housing area, there are five underground waste containers for food waste, residual waste, paper and cardboard, glass and metal packaging, and plastic packaging. Please remember to sort your waste correctly!

The nearest bus stop is located two streets above Storvollen and can be reached in approximately three minutes on foot. For more information about public transportation, visit Svipper.

At this housing area, you have excellent hiking terrain right on your doorstep and easy access to Folkeparken, Harstad’s most popular outdoor recreation area. Folkeparken offers a wide range of amenities and activities, including shelters, fishing lakes, marked hiking trails, illuminated trails, picnic tables and benches, areas for berry and mushroom picking, the Harstad Bike Park, and much more.

In addition to the excellent hiking terrain right outside your front door, there are plenty of opportunities for sports and exercise in the area. Just 1.1 km away, in the lower level of the Coop Extra building, you will find a Feel24 fitness center.

There are also several sports halls nearby offering a variety of activities, including football, floorball, gymnastics, and climbing.

Harstad centre is close by and offers a good selection of shops and two shopping centres, well suited to a town of approximately 25,000 residents. Harstad Cultural Centre is located right next to UiT and hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. In the town centre, you will also find a diverse selection of restaurants, cafés, and a vibrant nightlife.

The nearest grocery stores are Coop Extra, located next to Flåtenveien Student Village, and Rema 1000 at Bergseng. Both are approximately a 15-minute walk away.
