We are now recruiting students for positions such as "studentlivloser". The goal is for the student life pilots to function as a welcome committee, and for them to "release" new students into the student community. The student life pilots will call new students, welcome them to the Harstad campus and answer practical questions about being a student. The questions can be about everything from the study they have entered, student web, canvas, housing situation and the Start-up sponsorship scheme in Harstad.

The student life pilots will also map out when the newcomers arrive in the city, so that those who want to can be met at the airport, bus or boat terminal. The new students are then driven home to their apartment / dormitory, receive a goodie bag from Samskipnaden and hopefully feel a little extra welcome in Harstad.
