Applying for funding

Is your student association wondering how to apply for financial support? We have gathered an overview of the support schemes and opportunities we are aware of, so you can easily find out where and how to apply for funding.

For your information:

The Student Welfare Organisation has decided that students themselves, through their democratic bodies, are best suited to assess which student associations and initiatives should receive financial support. Therefore, it is the student democracy that manages the support schemes for student associations, based on funds made available for this purpose.

This means that the Student Welfare Organisation cannot provide financial support directly to individual associations or projects.

We therefore recommend that you use this page to find the correct information and the next steps in the application process relevant to your association.

Programme associations and study groups affiliated with a specific faculty

The Student Committees (SU) at each faculty are generally responsible for allocating financial resources to programme associations. The SUs receive operating funds from their respective faculties and also apply for additional support through the Student Parliament’s distribution of the semester fee. This makes them an important resource for associations that need financial support for operations or activities.

Programme associations and study groups at the Harstad and Narvik campuses

Students and student associations in Harstad and Narvik can apply for funding from the Campus Councils (“Campustingene”).
