We have asked Resident Advisor Jessie for her best tips on how you can show consideration and support for one another during the exam period in shared housing.
1. Create a Calendar with Exam Dates
An easy and effective way to foster well-being in shared housing during the exam period, is to create a calendar that shows when each person living there has their exams.
This can help provide clarity and make it easier to show consideration for each other. The calendar can, for example, be displayed in a common area and include information about the date, time, and subject of each exam.

2. Give a Good Luck Goodie Bag!
Another simple way to spread happiness and create well-being during exams is to give each other a small good luck goodie bag or another token of attention. Perhaps everyone in the house can chip in for a little surprise, such as chocolate or a favorite energy bar? Write a good luck note on a piece of paper and serve it with a nice cup of tea on the day of the exam? This can help boost spirits and create a sense of mutual support during a busy time.

3. Smile and Be Generous with Each Other
Being generous and showing care is important during a hectic and stressful exam period. A little smile can make a big difference! Take the time to show interest in each other's situations. Listening, asking how it's going, and offering help and support where needed, can contribute to creating a pleasant and supportive atmosphere!

Together, you can support each other through this stressful period of your life and make the exams a bit more pleasant! And remember: it's important to take breaks and relax :)
